He also mocked Jathika Hela Urumaya and Janatha Vimuthi Peramuna for its previous opposition against international interference and Norway facilitator role for not taking a silent stance on the current peace developments.
“ If JVP and JHU did not adopt the disastrous “nonsense” attitude two years before, the situation of the country would be much better,” he said.
He also said such restraints would have saved the hundreds of lives of Army members who were killed by the LTTE during last several months.
“JVP who burnt the effigies of Erik Solhiem are now attending to dinners parties with him,” he added. He further reminded that the JVP and JHU who opposed the helicopter rides given to Anton Balasigham during UNP regime are shamelessly keeping silent over helicopter rides provided to Anton Balasigham by President Mahinda Rajapakse.
