Grenade explosion wounds four [TamilNet, November 08, 1998 17:02 GMT]
Four Sri Lankan Policemen were wounded, two seriously, in a grenade explosion in Omanthai north of Vavuniya, this evening around 5 p.m. said police sources.
The wounded policemen were brought to the Vavuniya hospital and were later transfered to Anuradhapura hospital they added.
They said the policemen were on a clearing operation when one of them triggered the grenade to explode.
